One $25 sale, 13 places to sell it

On a $25 sale, the platform takes between $0.00 and $8.00, depending on where you sell. Pick yours to see each fee.

In plain terms: that is what reaches you after this platform’s fees. What the item cost you to buy or make is not in it — subtract that to get your actual profit.

An example, not a ranking — the fees don’t all cover the same things. Amazon’s includes packing and shipping the order, and StockX’s includes a $5 shipping charge; on the others, postage is still yours to pay. Shopify also charges a monthly plan (from $39) that isn’t in its row. Rates are for US sellers.

What each row assumes
  • Amazon FBA: most categories, a small standard-size item weighing 12 oz.
  • Etsy: a US seller, one item.
  • eBay: most categories, within your free monthly listings.
  • Shopify: the Basic plan with Shopify Payments, monthly plan fee not included.
  • Walmart Marketplace: the “Everything Else” category, shipped by you.
  • TikTok Shop: a standard category, shipped by you.
  • Facebook Marketplace: a shipped order paid through Checkout.
  • Poshmark: a package under 5 lb.
  • Mercari: a listing made since January 2025.
  • Depop: a US seller, listing not boosted.
  • Vinted: a private seller; the buyer pays the Vinted fee on top.
  • StockX: Seller Level 1, a US seller.
  • Reverb: a standard (not Preferred) seller.

Where the numbers come from

The rates are the platforms’ own. Each calculator links to the fee page the platform itself publishes, and shows the month it was last checked against it.

You can redo the math. Every fee gets its own line, with how it was worked out, so you can hold it up against your own payout report.

Nothing you type is saved. The calculators run in your browser. No account, no sign-up.

Informational only, not professional advice. Platforms change their fees; check the linked fee page before you rely on a figure.
