Amazon FBA Fee Calculator
See what an Amazon FBA sale actually nets you — referral fee, fulfillment fee, and the 2026 fuel & logistics surcharge, itemized down to your true margin.
How this is calculated
Referral fee is Amazon's cut of the sale price, set by category — a flat percentage for most categories, or a tiered rate for categories like Clothing and Jewelry, always subject to a $0.30 per-item minimum.
FBA fulfillment fee is Amazon's per-unit pick, pack, and ship fee, set by size tier and shipping weight, plus the 3.5% fuel & logistics surcharge Amazon added to every US FBA fulfillment fee on April 17, 2026.
True margin is sale price minus referral fee minus fulfillment fee (including the surcharge) — before your product cost, shipping-to-Amazon cost, ads, or storage fees.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. The 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge that Amazon added to every US FBA fulfillment fee on April 17, 2026 is included automatically and shown as its own line in the breakdown.
What FBA size tiers does this calculator cover?
Small Standard-Size (up to 16 oz) and Large Standard-Size (up to 20 lb) — the two tiers most FBA sellers ship in. Large Bulky, Extra-Large/Oversize, and apparel-specific size programs aren't modeled yet.
Why might my actual Amazon fee be different from this estimate?
This tool doesn't model the Low-Price FBA discount, Small and Light, dangerous-goods handling fees, or storage and returns-processing fees — all of which can change your final per-unit cost. For an exact, listing-specific number, check the Fee Preview report in Seller Central.
How often is the fee schedule reviewed?
At least once a year, and sooner whenever Amazon announces a rate change. The review date is shown next to the methodology section below.
