Marketplace Seller Fee Schedule

Every platform this site covers, one row each, standard seller fee side by side — no input required. Every figure is cited to that platform's own published fee schedule and pulled from the same data behind this site's individual calculators.

Informational only, not professional advice. Each row shows a platform's standard, most-common-case rate — not every category, tier, or seller-level variation. Open a platform's own calculator for the itemized math on your actual sale.

How this table is built

Each row's headline rate is pulled directly from the same constants that power this site's own per-platform calculator — never re-typed or re-derived — so this table can't silently drift out of sync with the tools it summarizes. Every rate is cited to that platform's own published fee schedule; where a platform's help pages block automated fetching, the figure was corroborated across multiple independent 2026 sources citing the same primary page (see each calculator's own methodology section for its full source trail).

Stripe and PayPal are intentionally excluded. Both are payment processors used within your own store, not a parallel marketplace with a published referral or selling fee — see the Stripe & PayPal Fee Calculator for their processing rates.

Want the actual dollar math on one product across several platforms instead of headline rates? Marketplace Fee Comparison runs a real sale price through each platform's formula side by side.

Frequently asked questions

Which marketplace has the lowest seller fees?

There's no single answer — it depends on category and price. Mercari, TikTok Shop, and Depop (for US sellers) have the simplest flat/low structures, while Amazon and StockX stack multiple fee types. Use the Marketplace Fee Comparison tool to run one real product across several platforms' actual formulas instead of comparing headline percentages alone.

Why isn't Stripe or PayPal on this table?

Stripe and PayPal are payment processors you'd use within your own store (for example, on Shopify), not a marketplace with its own referral or selling fee schedule — they're not a parallel place to sell. See the Stripe & PayPal Fee Calculator for their processing rates.

Are these the exact fees I'll pay?

These are each platform's standard, most-common-case rate — useful for a fast side-by-side read, not a final invoice. Most platforms have category-specific rates, tiers, or seller-level discounts that shift the real number. Open a platform's own calculator (linked in each row) to enter your actual price and get the itemized math.

How often is this table updated?

Every figure here is pulled directly from the same fee data that powers this site's individual calculators, each cited to that platform's own published fee schedule and reviewed on the cadence noted on its calculator page. If a platform changes its rates, the calculator and this table update together.
