StockX Fee Calculator
See what a StockX sale actually pays out — transaction fee, payment processing fee, and seller shipping fee, itemized down to your true payout.
Verified Marketplace: transaction fee by Seller Level, plus a flat 3% payment processing fee and a $5.00 seller shipping fee (US), all deducted from your payout.
How this is calculated
Verified Marketplace sales — StockX's standard bid/ask flow — carry three deductions: a transaction fee set by your Seller Level (9% at Level 1, stepping down to 7% at Level 5 as your rolling quarterly sales volume goes up), a flat 3% payment processing fee on every sale regardless of level, and a flat $5.00 seller shipping fee (US, single item) to ship the item to StockX's authentication center, deducted from your payout.
Listings Marketplace sales work differently: StockX charges sellers no selling, processing, or shipping fees at all on that flow — the buyer covers those costs at checkout instead, so your payout is the full sale price.
True payout is sale price minus every fee that applies to the marketplace you sold on.

Scope & limitations
Scoped to US sellers. Covers the Verified Marketplace's transaction fee (by Seller Level), 3% payment processing fee, and the flat US single-item seller shipping fee, plus the Listings Marketplace's $0 seller-fee flow. Not modeled: StockX also lists a regional minimum seller fee ($5.00 for US sellers), but its Help Center text doesn't specify whether that floor applies to the transaction fee alone or the combined seller fee — rather than guess at the mechanic, this tool omits it, so on very low-priced sales the real StockX-charged fee may run higher than shown here. Also not modeled: Flex program storage fees, bulk-shipment shipping rates, and non-US shipping fee amounts. Treat this as a fee-stack estimate, not a final payout statement.

Frequently asked questions
What determines my StockX Seller Level?
Your rolling quarterly sales count and dollar volume on the Verified Marketplace. Level 1 has no minimum; Level 2 needs 12 sales / $1,500 per quarter; Level 3 needs 40 sales / $5,000; Level 4 needs 200 sales / $25,000; Level 5 needs 800 sales / $100,000. Higher levels get a lower transaction fee rate, from 9% down to 7%.
Is the 3% payment processing fee separate from the transaction fee?
Yes. StockX's Verified Marketplace charges both on every sale: a transaction fee that varies by your Seller Level (9% down to 7%), plus a flat 3% payment processing fee on top, regardless of level.
Do I still pay a shipping fee if I'm on a higher Seller Level?
Yes — the seller shipping fee to StockX's authentication center ($5.00 for US sellers shipping a single item) applies at every Seller Level. It isn't reduced by leveling up; only the transaction fee percentage changes.
What's the difference between the Verified Marketplace and the Listings Marketplace?
The Verified Marketplace is StockX's standard bid/ask flow: you ship to StockX for authentication, and StockX deducts the transaction fee, processing fee, and shipping fee from your payout. The Listings Marketplace is a fixed-price alternative where StockX charges sellers no selling, processing, or shipping fees at all — the buyer covers those costs instead, so your payout is the full sale price.
