Fee Calculators
Depop Fee Calculator
See what a Depop sale actually nets a US seller — the payment processing fee, itemized down to your true margin.
US sellers pay $0 Depop selling fee — just a 3.3% + $0.45 payment processing fee on item price plus shipping.
How this is calculated
Depop selling fee is $0 for US sellers, since Depop removed it for new US listings on July 15, 2024 — a structural change from the flat 10% fee that applied before that date.
Payment processing fee is 3.3% + $0.45, charged through Depop Payments (powered by Stripe) on the item sale price plus shipping costs and any applicable taxes. This calculator omits tax from the fee base.
Boosting fee is an optional 12% charge on the item sale price (excluding taxes), plus shipping cost if you haven't used a Depop Shipping label — applied only if a Boosted Listing results in a sale. This calculator applies it to item price plus shipping when toggled on, since Depop label usage isn't modeled here.
True margin is order total minus the payment processing fee (and Boosting fee, if toggled on) — before your product cost, your cost to ship, or any advertising spend outside of Depop's own Boost feature.

Scope & limitations
Scoped to US sellers only. Not modeled: UK and international seller rates (different payment processing fees, and a 10% selling fee outside the UK/US), sales tax within the payment processing fee base, and whether a Depop Shipping label was used (which would exclude shipping from the Boosting fee base). Treat this as a fee-stack estimate, not a final invoice.

Frequently asked questions
Does Depop charge a selling fee?
Not for US sellers — Depop removed its selling fee for new US listings starting July 15, 2024. The only fee on a standard sale is the payment processing fee.
What is Depop's payment processing fee?
3.3% + $0.45 for US sellers, charged through Depop Payments (powered by Stripe) on the item sale price plus shipping costs and any applicable taxes. This calculator omits tax, consistent with how tax is handled across this site's other calculators.
What does Boosting a listing cost?
An optional 12% fee on the item sale price (plus shipping, if you didn't use a Depop Shipping label), charged only if the boosted listing results in a sale. It's on top of the standard payment processing fee, not a replacement for it.
Does this apply to UK or other international sellers?
No — this calculator is scoped to US sellers. UK sellers pay a different payment processing rate (2.9% + £0.30) but the same $0 selling fee; sellers outside the UK and US still pay a 10% Depop selling fee plus a separate payment processing fee. Those aren't modeled here.
